My dream is that one day no one will know suffering from a treatable medical condition because everyone will have access to basic healthcare. Through my involvement with Global Medical Brigades I hope to make progress towards this goal by assisting medical professionals administering acute care in rural Honduras, and by working to help local populations establish a sustainable community health worker program, and program of health education. I hope to make positive progress towards this goal through my involvement with my fellow Brigaders and my work with the individuals of the communities we will be visiting.
