One of All Out Africa’s main objectives is to provide sustainability to the families and organizations in Swaziland. Due to the severe poverty level and the extreme HIV/AIDS epidemic many cannot afford or are unable to sustain themselves and their children to build, extend or make improvements to their homes. We also support centres for the orphaned and vulnerable children and NGO’s who do not have the budget to maintain their structures.
Without the role of a breadwinner, families are forced to rely on neighbours and community members who often do not have the means to feed their families yet alone another. They also rely on organizations such as All Out Africa and donations from individuals such as you to contribute to building and gardening projects.
All of our projects are supervised by a local skilled builder done the old fashioned manual way without the use of expensive high tech tools. The reason for this is to ensure the families and communities we are supporting are not seen as outcasts and that they are able to maintain the structures long after we have left the project.
Funding in the past and current projects have gone to the building of schools, homes for the disabled as well as gardens to provide healthy lifestyles to families who otherwise would not have access to food.
In order to keep the building and gardening projects running we are asking for support to continue to offer incentives to our skilled local builders. We want to maintain and increase the motivation and enthusiasm of these individuals to further develop the All Out Africa building and gardening projects as well as have others learn and carry on the knowledge and skills. Donations would also go towards the purchasing of supplies and tools necessary.
