I've been so lucky and blessed to have others care for me and sacrifice personal gains to help me. So now it is my turn to pay it forward. I am passionate about caring for others and doing something to make a difference. What may be a small kind, effortless gesture to one person may be a great effort to another. Serving others is meant to be more than just helping someone, its a vocation, a calling to provide hope. I enjoy conversing with others and hearing about people's stories. For me, my expectations of getting to know people is more than finding out there names and where they are from. I like find out their paths in life and know their character. I love tasting all the flavors of life. Life is about mixing the good with the bad, the controversial with the undoubted and learning from all these recipes. Some of my personal interests are cooking (when I was a child my sisters would make fun of me for watching the cooking channel), theatre (I am a broadway fanatic!), fashion, which I personally believe can be artful, school (I would like to become a physician or physician assistant), traveling, following current events, and being physically active.
