I am extremely passionate about this organization! Having the opportunity to travel abroad is an experience I have always wanted. Being able to help people has been my calling since day one. I love my life and one way to show I am truly thankful for it is by helping others. I would love to become a doctor someday and help save lives in this world. My dream begins now with Global Brigades. It provides me the chance to help save 7,000 lives within a week. All I have to say is that I am extremely thankful and excited! Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
