Volunteer Activity Message

VOLUNTEER MATCH-CLEMENTE AVENDANO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Clemente Avendano Elementary School was unofficially founded in 1957 in a storehouse lent by the owner of the San Juan farm. In 1967 the school was officially founded by the Education Department. The school serves many low-income agricultural families in the area. Due to its relatively small student population, the Ministry of Education provides little financial instance to improve or refurbish existing infrastructure and facilities. (SEE PHOTOS BELOW)

GROUP CONTRIBUTION AND VOLUNTEER EFFORTS WILL GO TOWARDS:
- Constructing a hand-washing station, preparing the area and installing a washing sink.
-Design, create, and implement educational murals reflecting the importance of art, healthy living, and the environment.
