As people, our ultimate goal should be to help each other. As my contribution towards this goal, I am traveling with an amazing group of students to Honduras in May of 2016 with Global Medical Brigades to give others the gift of education about health related concerns in the country, that still exist even today. It is the work we do together that will create the difference so many of us talk about when bettering the world. Every cent, every dollar counts when contributing to the supplies and the cost of the journey to help children, adults, and even groups of people face the realities of taking care of their own health so that they can support themselves, their families, and perhaps also work with us in creating a better tomorrow. Building relationships with people all over the world is necessary when understanding the differences each of us faces in medicine. We need to start giving more, helping more, and teaching more so that as a group of people, we can give a better life to those who may not have the means to have one just yet.
