I am truly passionate about medicine and wish to become a general thoracic surgeon in the future. Ultimately, my goal of becoming a surgeon is driven by my unfettering curiosity for knowledge and my willingness to help others in need. I hope to travel to Honduras so that I may be able to experience a country where medicine is not ubiquitous and see the problems associated with the lack of proper health care.
