VAW Outreach Trip, 2019-2020 season

Join a VAW chapter on their Outreach trip to Cambodia, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Panama, Peru or Vietnam this winter, spring or summer! Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about various procedures through direct interaction with the community and local healthcare professionals, learn about the current healthcare system in the host country, teach a public health class and much more! VAW chapters will be opening up mobile clinics (Medical, Dental and Veterinary) or developing public health projects (Global Health) alongside local communities during their time in the host country.

In 2019, VAW treated over 35,000 patients and we aspire to treat over 45,000 in 2020. Fundraising for supplies and medications is a huge part of creating successful mobile clinics and sustainable development projects to help the local communities with effective care.
