VOLUNTEER MATCH-PIECITOS: Piecitos, or little feet was founded in Lima, Peru in 2014. This dedicated non-profit civil association is committed to improving the educational quality of the country for school-aged children across many diverse communities. The founder, Katherine Rodriquez carries a philosophical outlook that education is the basis for both personal and community development. Driven to work for equal rights and opportunities, Piecitos focuses working in vulnerable contexts in communities and educational institutions in and outside Lima. Since the organization began, over 600 families have worked together and over 1300 children have participated in educational campaigns and projects. Your work in San Juan de Miraflores will continue to expand the number of children reached and educational outcomes improved.

OUR GROUP CONTRIBUTION AND VOLUNTEER EFFORTS WILL GO TOWARDS:
-Design and create educational murals reflecting healthy living and environmental protection.
-Lead workshops and distribute materials focused on dental hygiene, hand-washing, recycling, and the importance of a healthy environment.
