Two of my biggest passions are serving and learning. I have been blessed with the opportunity to fulfill both of these passions on my upcoming trip to Nicaragua with UTK Global Medical Training. I could not be more excited to be immersed in the Central American culture and build relationships with the people in the villages. More importantly, I cannot wait to make an impact on not only their health but their lives as well.

GMT at University of Tennessee, Knoxville is an official affiliate of Global Medical Training, an international humanitarian organization that provides free medical and dental services to medically deprived communities throughout Central America. A prime corollary is offering healthcare students (at all levels) an eye-opening experience that will expand their understanding of medicine/dentistry and life outside of North America.
