Visiting India in the 3rd grade and in the 9th grade really opened my mind through the eyes of a child and a teenager. I met other children my age and younger than me that had very little, some with no clothes at all. They would become so ecstatic at being given just one small piece of candy, and their full innocence yet misfortune touched my heart. I want to help not only those kids, but their families. Healthcare especially is something everybody should receive, and I want to help make that possible.
