I am passionate about helping people through first-hand interaction. Previous volunteer trips to Ghana and Panama have shown me the immense benefits of on-site and in-person aid for local communities. For my current initiative, I want to travel to Nepal to help rebuild homes that were destroyed in the recent earthquakes. I continue to be inspired by people who travel to other countries to aid in whatever way they can, and I, too, want to make a difference.

Rebuild Nepal: December 27 - January 5

Aaron's Message

Hi everyone,

I hope to travel to Nepal this winter to help rebuild homes that were destroyed during the recent earthquakes. I believe in the tangible benefits of grassroots volunteer aid and its ability to make a direct impact on local communities.

Unfortunately, I live 7678 miles from Nepal and getting there is not cheap. That is why I am asking for donations in any amount to help me achieve my fundraising goal so that I may participate.

Volunteer Activity Description

Winter in the Himalayan foothills provides an absolutely unique experience to enjoy the beautiful mountains while helping to rebuild schools and serving the community of Takure in Sindhupalchowk. It will be cold at nights, but during the day we will stay warm working hard alongside local community members. We will also take time to hike to a local viewpoint from which you can see the entire Himalayan skyline. Join us as we work hard and have fun this winter!
