Many people take their health for granted, and do not think about those in different parts of the world who do not have access to the basic medical care that they need. A big reason why I want to go into the health profession is to help others who otherwise cannot help themselves in terms of living a long, healthy life. This trip I am taking to Panama is doing just that-buildling clinics so doctors and nurses, along with other healthcare professionals can bring their knowledge and expertise to people who truly need the help.
