I am a student-athlete, who has always loved humanitarian efforts. I enjoy any occasion that includes travelling and opportunities in which I can help people. I am so excited for the Nicaragua trip, because I believe it will be a great opportunity for me to experience the culture of a foreign nation, using a foreign language, doing hands-on work for a community, interacting with locals, and reaping the rewards of helping others in need. I am very dedicated to the efforts made by GSE. I hope to one day be able to work for it or an organization similar where students can travel abroad to help communities and experience diversity of a different level.
