I am a third year mechanical engineering student at UC Davis. Traveling and being introduced to new cultures and environments are life-long passions of mine. The trip to Nicaragua presents an amazing opportunity to grow as an individual and help the local community at the same time. In the future I hope to help develop sustainable energy technology and bring it to less developed peoples through an organization such as the UN.
