Dear family and friends,

So if you didn’t know I am trying to go to Ecuador during the upcoming Spring Break! I’m very excited because I haven’t traveled this far since I was much younger and this could be a very cool life experience for me.

Why Ecuador?

Well, this year I became involved in the gardening club at Drake, which participates in the Global Student Embassy program (GSE). My peers and I will be going to do reforesting work and helping communities down in Ecuador.

Another great thing about this trip is I will complete all of my community service school requirements and this also will look very good on my college applications.

I need to raise $2,350 in funds for me to be able to go and to pay for plane tickets, lodging, food and other expenses.

This is where I need the help of my family and friends. I am looking for donations so I can actually fulfill my fundraising goal and be able to go on the trip.
