As a highly motivated psychobiology and public health sciences double major looking to pursue a career in the medical field, I am driven by my passion to establish healthcare equity, specifically by targeting those in underserved populations. My fascination with the medical world began as a child and has only continued to flourish as I've become more exposed to it. I aspire to become a nurse practitioner, establishing long-lasting relationships with the families I serve, and ultimately fostering a strong sense of confianza amongst communities.

Global Medical Brigades enables me to further explore potential vocations, and equips me with skills pertinent to my academic career and daily life. From taking vitals, to teaching children how to brush their teeth and conversing with locals about a typical day in their community, I've learned to embrace each program experience, for they are all rich in laughter, love and knowledge.
