Allison's Message

Global Brigades gives rural communities in Panama access to previously unattainable legal counsel. It harnesses the power of the Panamanian legal community and builds local relationships to create lasting change. Through providing legal counsel to deserving communities, I am able to create a change and empower others while gaining first hand experience in international legal work.

Volunteer Activity Description

Global Human Rights Brigades empowers rural communities in Panama Este to overcome barriers to access to justice through educational workshops and legal counsel. Volunteers have the opportunity to get hands on legal experience working on cases with meaningful impact under licensed international lawyers.
