I am passionate about traveling. I enjoy meeting new people and having novel experiences. Looking at how unsustainable current practices of development are, I strongly believe that alternate methods of development need to be explored and encouraged. To this end, I feel that the Innovation Institute is a center for learning that promotes such scholarship and research. The ThinkImpact program with its ten-week immersion program which allows for scholars to work with community entrepreneurs provides the perfect opportunity to come up with creative, communal solutions to problems facing rural societies. I am excited to be a part of the program because it gives me first-hand experience to understand these issues, and to work together with a team of people to develop strategies to better tackle
