Passionate About:

In regards to my hobbies and what I am passionate about, I foster an extensive passion for sports, in particular cycling and running. This is partially due to the sense of achievement embraced when I reach or exceed a set goal..
Another huge interest of mine is education, I love studying and learning about new things. Yes, I appreciate it’s an odd thing to love doing.
I am also very passionate about helping others and this has led to my keen interest in participate in the public health and water brigade.
I am currently a member the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee within Deutsche Bank. Last year members of the CSR Committee partook in helping create reading corners in underprivileged schools in Dublin. We also partake in numerous fundraising actives such as bake sales, dress down days, fun runs and festive actives, in order to raise much needed funds for these invaluable charities

Volunteer Activity Message

Water Brigades volunteers assist in designing and implementing water systems to prevent water-related illnesses in communities with limited access to clean water. With a sufficient quantity of properly treated water community members can cut off the connection between water and illness and ultimately live healthier more productive lives. Our in-country team members work with water experts and community leaders to design rainwater harvesting systems to serve individual homes, schools, and communities. Once the water system is blueprinted, volunteers work side-by-side with community members to build the project, implement water filtration solutions, teach about water collection and filtration methods and organize community water counsels and school water clubs to maintain the project. Between brigades our in-country team follows up in the community to ensure long-term sustainability and continued functionality of the project.
