Volunteer Activity Description

Start Date: May 16, 2015 11:00 PM
End Date: May 22, 2015 11:00 PM

Volunteers empower small businesses in rural communities to become more economically stable. Volunteers provide financial literacy and planning, strategy consulting, and recommendations for potential business loans. Volunteers have the opportunity to utilize consulting frameworks and simple business fundamentals to address the challenges of small rural businesses. Businesses that are seeking capital to improve or grow can work with volunteers to initiate their loan
application and plan. A portion of volunteers' fundraising goes toward the capitalization of the local community-owned bank to
utilize for future savings accounts and loans.
