Engaging. Over the course of my personal sixteen years on this planet, I have engaged with opportunities to learn, teach, and help those around me, on a small scale. A chance to go to Ecuador is a much bigger one. In the likelihood that this trip does happen, I will not only be helping those who need aid, but I will be taught by them as well. Taught how to see the bright side of this world, and the better days of my existence. As a first generation teenager, it is very hard to stay at the roots of life when the echos of complaints in my ears incite lame issues of dead phone batteries and low test scores. It is extremely difficult to stay positive and appreciative of the things around me in a state where others need constant appeasement and gratification, so I would like to leave. I cannot just get up and go though, and that's what GSE is for. I am extremely excited to help others and learn about their culture and how they live. Please aid me in my quest to succeed.
