Hi friends and family - This spring, I will be traveling to Nicaragua with my Physician Assistant graduate program at Mercy College for 9 days to volunteer for those who are less fortunate and cannot afford proper medical treatments. I will be volunteering with Global Brigades, a student based non-profit whose mission is to bring together volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic issues. During this trip, I will be providing high-quality medical care for seven days and volunteering with community service projects for the remaining two days. My classmates and I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide in reaching each of our goals of raising $1750, which will go towards medications, supplies, lodging for our trip, and other provisions. This experience will provide me with a great perspective and one-of-a-kind opportunity to practice what I love doing for those who need it the most. Thank you for any help you could provide!
