Hi everyone! My name is Ashton Getchell, and I am a sophomore at the College of Charleston. Currently, I am a double major in Biology and Spanish as well as an Honors College student. My dream is to go to medical school and become either an anesthesiologist or a pediatric neurologist. I believe that a Spanish major will aid me in whatever I choose to be because of how diverse America has grown to be; it will also allow me to have the chance to go to Spanish-speaking countries such as Panama to help those in need. The opportunity of traveling to Panama and experiencing medicine first hand will allow me to see how Spanish and medicine can go hand-in-hand.
