Howdy friends and family! This summer I've decided to participate in a Global Business Brigade with Texas A&M! We will be traveling to Darien, Panama to visit communities and help families and business owners with their financial needs. (More info below)

This year I will be a senior at TAMU and could not be more excited (or nostalgic). I will be graduating with a degree in finance, and even though I'm unsure of what sector of finance I'd like to pursue I know I want to use my knowledge to help improve society and the lives of others. Though that may seem far fetched in a world where money is used to manipulate power and compromise integrity, I like to think this a small step in the opposite direction. We will be using what we've learned the past few years to help the Darien community to become more financially literate and be able to confidently further develop their businesses. I also have been taking an interest in financial planning so I'm interested to see the dynamic of business in a different, much smaller, country. And even though we are suppose to be the ones teaching, I feel like I'm more likely to learn the most from this experience.
