I am passionate about my education and the path it is leading me to. I feel strong about helping others and giving back to the community. I am very passionate about the enviroment, Standard health for everyone, and raising awareness to health and enviromental global issues. I feel lucky to be part of an organization that is giving me the opportunity to go to another country and help under resourced communities. Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
