About College Chapters
Timmy Global Health chapters – now numbering 40+ throughout the United States – care deeply about the ending the disparities in access to continuous, quality healthcare that exist both abroad and in our own communities. Timmy chapters fuel our work to expand access to healthcare in Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and El Salvador by their unique 52-week per year commitment to fundraising, advocacy, and service. Timmy chapters serve on our medical service trips, but go far beyond that to impact the status of health in our partner communities: they fundraise money to be donated to our partner organizations and pay for critical surgeries and procedures our patients need, they advocate for access to good healthcare for people throughout the world, and they find ways to give back locally in their university or home communities.
