• About
  The Cyrus Peirce Middle School group, led by Spanish teacher Janet Emack, plans to return to Costa Rica for the second year. As a Global Education Squad the group will again partner with an elementary school to improve educational outcomes. The group will stay at our private and safe home-base accommodations Cartago where our local professional staff provide all transportation, food, lodging, and activities. The group will be matched with a local school where they will spend each weekday morning completing valuable small construction projects and classroom support. Each afternoon the group will embark on fun and engaging guided cultural and adventure activities around Cartago. On the weekend the group will travel to La Fortuna and Arenal National Park to explore the rainforest, waterfalls, and zip-lining!
