Volunteer Activity Description

Start Date: Dec 11, 2010 10:00 PM
End Date: Dec 18, 2010 10:00 PM

Architecture Brigades concentrates on the design and construction of structures and spaces that augment the efforts of other Global Brigades disciplines in Honduras. Instead of taking on a variety of small-scale buildings (individual houses, storage spaces, cabins, etc.) GAB focuses on large projects (schools, health centers, meeting spaces, recreation areas, community housing solutions) that benefit entire communities. Focusing several University clubs on each project of this type allows GAB to maximize mental design input, project funding, and construction man-power, maximizing the potential for success of each project.
