I have been on this continuous journey of the kind of health care provider I want to be for the communities I participate in. Through my studies, travels, passions, mentors, and peers I have been able to discover the empowerment of health education. I am fascinated by other cultures and its teachings in all facets. My career goals include becoming a nurse and then furthering my education to become a certified nurse-midwife. I am grateful for this opportunity.
