Donald Kim

Passionate About:

Besides cinema and cycling, I have always been involved with some sort of volunteer activity, either through church or school. Previously, I have done volunteer work around Los Angeles such as handing out care packages to the homeless in Skid Row and visiting children staying at The Shriners Hospital, but this is the first time I will be volunteering in a developing region. The prospect of supporting people through micro-lending in economically sparse areas has been intriguing to me ever since reading the book: Banker for the Poor by Muhammad Yunus. Dr. Yunus teaches that large social changes does not require enormous pools of resources. That is probably me in a nutshell anyways.
