Volunteer Activity Description

Start Date: Jun 16, 2014 12:00 AM
End Date: Jun 22, 2014 12:00 AM

The current focus of the Architecture Program is to design and build structures that augment the efforts of other Global Brigades disciplines in Honduras. We do this by constructing large projects, such as schools and health centers, to provide health and education infrastructure to benefit entire communities. Volunteers do not need prior building expertise for the brigade, as they will be working alongside skilled masons who will guide students on proper building practices and safety precautions during building, while also educating volunteers of the use of local materials.
