Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission at Global Brigades USA is to empower volunteers to facilitate sustainable solutions in under resourced communities while fostering local cultures. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 Honduran, Panamanian, Ghanaian, and Nicaraguan community members.

The Color Run was founded in January of 2012 as an event to promote healthiness and happiness by bringing the community together to participate in the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”. The Color Run is the original paint race and has created a completely new genre of running events that continues to grow exponentially.
