I am a fourth year Cardiff Medical Student that is travelling to Ghana this summer with the charity Global Brigades. As part of the 'medical brigade' our aims are to promote public health, triage patients, prescribe medication, educate and offer support within the community. The money I need to fund raise pays for my accommodation and basic meals for the ten days. The rest will go to the community to help support their healthcare system.
