  Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Since 2004, Global Brigades has mobilized thousands of university students and professionals through nine skill-based programs that work in partnership with community members to improve quality of life in under resourced regions while respecting local culture.
  
  It is our ultimate goal to work with local communities to build foundations so strong that we can leave these rural villages with sustainable programs that will help improve their lives.
  
  Throughout the year we send almost 10,000 students abroad to volunteer, listen and learn from our indigenous staff and community members. Through the process we are able to empower over 300,000 individuals living in rural Central America and West Africa with access to:

  Public Health infrastructure
  
  Clean water

  For every $100 we raise we can double the impact of a students contribution to our communities.
