California State University Chico

OUR MISSION Global Student Embassy (GSE) promotes peace and equitable development by connecting young people from around the world through innovative workshops and service learning exchanges. Our students are young ambassadors who practice grassroots international relations by identifying local issues, collaborating with their global peers, and implementing projects that create positive change within the community. OUR VISION GSE envisions a world community connected by energetic young leaders who have the ability to think critically about local and international issues, and the skills to transform their ideas into positive community change. GSE is connecting the next generation of world leaders, creating an international network of champions for social responsibility and environmental consciousness.

Campolindo

Global Student Embassy expanded to Contra Costa County two years ago by creating a program at Campo through partnership with an environmental science class and the CATS CARE program which promotes recycling around campus. Since the creation of a garden in 2012, Campolindo has donated thousands of pounds of organic produce each year to the Contra Costa Food Bank, and engaged over 500 students in hands-on environmental science curriculum.

In collaboration with international peers, students generate and implement powerful community-based solutions to shared ecological concerns. Casa Grande High School

GSE's young partnership with Casa Grande High School is one that we are very excited about! We will be working with Soquel students, teachers, and administrators to provide in-depth programming and trip facilitation to our partner communities. We will be focusing efforts guiding students participation on systems design and edible landscaping on campus.
