Going to Honduras last year has made me so aware about helping those in need more than ever. It changed my outlook on life and taught me to appreciate everyone and all the luxuries I am fortunate enough to have in my life. Even the littlest things which are often overlooked, like toilets, are priceless in other areas of the world.
I would love to be able to go back to Honduras this year with everything I learned last year and continue to help those that I can. The Honduran people do not see any other health care besides the Medical Brigades which come through about once a year, if that. I want to be one of the people which can make their lives a little better.
