About
The International Community School is traveling to Costa Rica from May 20-26, 2018. The group is led by Spanish teachers Nadia Miranda and Cameron Brandy. The group will stay at our private and safe home-base accommodations Cartago where our local professional staff provide all transportation, food, lodging, and activities. The group will be matched with a local school where they will spend each weekday morning completing valuable small construction projects and staff support. Each afternoon the group will embark on fun and engaging guided cultural and adventure activities around Cartago. On the weekend the group will take an overnight excursion to to the most well-known cloud forest in the world for its biodiversity, conservation efforts, and scientific research. Enjoy a guided nature walk through the park to experience this unique ecosystem and explore the rainforest canopy further with an exhilarating Skytrek adventure, a extensive system of suspension bridges and zip lines through the canopy.
