Continuing my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian is very exciting to me and I am even more thrilled to be doing that during my travel to Peru this Summer 2022 to volunteer in the local community of Cusco. We will be helping licensed veterinarians serve the animals of the community to better their health and quality of life which in turn benefit their owners and other citizens in the community. I wish to leave an impact in Cusco that lasts after my departure through educating the owners on how to properly care for their pets and showing them the same compassion I would in my own community.
