Dentistry! This January, I will make my second trip to Honduras to serve the underprivileged. In rural areas abroad, people walk for hours and wait in line at the crack of dawn to enter our dental clinics. It's an eye-opening experience to see how much we take for granted in the US. Last spring, a few of us hosted Miles for Smiles, a 5K run to raise money to buy equipment to better serve the population. We won the campus Do Good Challenge, and I recently used our prize money to purchase 5 autoclaves and 2 ultrasonics for the upcoming brigade. Any size donation is much appreciated.
