Volunteer Activity Message

The number of disastrous health problems in third world nations that could be improved by simple solutions is astounding. The Northwestern Public Health Brigaders look to solve these problems through the implementation of sustainable projects such as concrete floors, cleaner stoves, and sanitary water storage tanks that will alleviate these problems. Most importantly, education is essential in solving health problems. We will conduct a lesson for the villagers on how to maintain hygiene and practice basic sanitation without monetary resources. During the brigade, we will split up into groups of 3-4 and each be assigned to a family for the week. With the help of the family, local villagers, and the Global Brigades staff, we will carry out sustainable solutions for disastrous problems.
