I will be volunteering in a medical service trip to Nicaragua with fellow pre-medical students from the University of South Florida in May. We will be providing free healthcare to very low income communities, some of which do not have access to any medical facilities. This is my second trip to Nicaragua and so I know that these communities lack a lot of the simple medications that we have here in the US, such as ibuprofen, Benadryl, Imodium, etc. I am hoping to raise about $250 from friends and family to obtain these medications and small toys for the kids in the community. Anything would help and prayers are definitely welcomed!!
