Merrill's Message

This is my first medical outreach experience in traveling to another country, and I am very excited about this opportunity. If anyone at all feels inclined to donate, which provides important medical equipment and treatments for underserved populations in Guatemala, please do so. Thanks for all your support!

Volunteer Activity Description

Join the VAW Chicago chapter as the lead a Medical Outreach trip to Guatemala this winter! Volunteers will work in mobile medical clinics, where they will have the opportunity to intake patients, conduct public health surveys, take vitals, shadow local physicians, work in the pharmacy, teach education classes, and much more!
