Throughout different countries, people's relationship with water contrasts drastically. Getting a glass of water, brushing my teeth or taking a shower is not a laborious process. For thousands of people in developing countries, water is seen in a very different light. In Honduras, water can often contain diseases and cause serious illness.

This January I will be going to Honduras with USC Water Brigades to help design and implement a water system to provide clean water to a rural community. The USC Water Brigade team will work side by side with the local community in this project to improve the health and standard of living in the community. In addition, we will also be teaching the community members how to maintain the water system so that our efforts will continue beyond our stay.
