Passionate About:

As a teacher of medicine and cultural diversity, I feel it is my obligation to expose my students to as many learning opportunities as possible. I try to both clinically practice and teach the value of keeping the “heart” in healthcare. This is what led me to forming a Chapter of the Global Brigades at Arcadia University and organizing medical brigades. The learning experience we encounter cannot be accomplished in the classroom. To work side-by-side with my students and see them flourish as clinicians by applying the skills we have taught them, is an amazing experience I will always cherish. We cannot grow as humanitarians without giving back to those who so desperately need it. This is a lesson I want my students to remember for a lifetime. Together with my students, we will continue give back and take care of the many “hearts” in healthcare that desperately need our help.”
