  Misión Gaia is a local NGO that works hand in hand with local communities. We understand their current needs to support and develop programs that help them on solving needs to improve their standards of living. Every experience from our volunteers helps us to strengthen our relationships with the community.
  
  A group of graduate students from the Monterey Institute of International Studies will be volunteering their skills and time in January 2014 to implement a sustainable tourism project with Misión Gaia.
