Volunteer Activity Message

The Texas A&M Global Architecture Brigades will be designing and building a secondary school in the Honduras community of Santa Rosa. The school will accommodate 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students from Santa Rosa and thirteen surrounding communities.

Throughout the month of September 2010, the Brigaders, a handpicked group of the most passionate, collaborative minded, and talented architecture and construction students at Texas A&M, will meet in charrette style design sessions outside of the students' general course workload- a reflection of their selfless passion for helping others who are less fortunate.

After the design phase the team will then travel to Honduras in January to participate in the construction of the school.
