Hiii Friends and Family!
This winter I have the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic with a group called Global Medical Training to work along side physicians in a medical clinic. The nearest hospitals to the community we will be in, are miles away. The distance and expense makes it difficult for the locals to access health care.
Our clinic is free of cost for our patients. As such, we must fundraise in order to have the necessary resources available. My personal goal is to raise $1,205 and our group goal is $18,074. The trip lasts a week and the money you donate does not cover my travel expenses, rather it will cover expenses within the Dominican Republic, including medical supplies and prescriptions for the clinic's pharmacy.
