  Rwanda is a small landlocked country in Eastern Africa nicknamed the land of a thousand hills. ThinkImpact works in the Eastern Province, Rwamagana District, Munyiginya Sector, about 60 km from the capital city of Kigali. Rwanda is a poor rural country with about 90% of the population engaged in (mainly subsistence) agriculture, although tourism is now Rwanda’s primary foreign exchange earner. Rwanda has made remarkable strides since the 1994 genocide and is a safe and welcoming destination.
