Thank you for taking the time to find out more about the Global Brigades campaign!

I will be going to Ghana this August with fellow medical and dental students and we aim to bring healthcare to the more rural communities.

Healthcare access in these regions are very limited often waiting for the next brigade before they recieve any medical advice an attention. We will potentially be diagnosing and treating 300-600 patients EACH day.

The funds we raise here will go towards things such as: purchasing equipment, supplies and medication that we will be treating with and providing on site; the cost of ambulances for patients requiring urgent hospital attention and contributing towards improvements in the local community amongst other things.

We all have an individual target to raise at least £550 towards the cause and all of the money will go towards the project and directly to the local community
